I recently spent a lovely weekend there with my partner, and we were instantly enchanted by the stunning surroundings and the friendly vibe of the place. The restaurant deserves a special mention; indulging in traditional Galician cuisine while sipping on regional wines felt like a culinary journey. The wonders of the ancient water mill, showcased within a small museum, added a unique touch, connecting the past to our present experience. My yoga-loving heart appreciated the beautiful woodland trails right outside our door, allowing for both reflective walks and energizing runs. While the accommodations might have felt a bit rustic and one could discern some areas in need of care, the beautiful wooden beams and overall character of the building made it more charming than challenging. Fervenza Casa Grande is a delightful stop for those wandering along the Camino de Santiago, offering a peaceful haven away from the bustle, and I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired.
